A multi-year vision for tailored guidance

Because your body goes through complex phases throughout the month and major shifts throughout life, health insights must continuously adapt. Google Health aims to give you a complete view of your overall wellbeing across all phases and stages of life — from periods to pregnancy to perimenopause. When you wear a smartwatch or tracker 24/7, like the Google Fitbit Air , Pixel Watch 5, or all new Google Fitbit Edge, you capture the continuous, night-over-night biometric data needed to truly understand these shifts.

Our collaboration with Flo Health will focus on four central pillars:

• Secure, consent-based app syncing: Beginning early next year, you will be able to easily sync your Flo Health app with Google Health. With your consent, your cycle data from Flo Health can be linked with your Google Health metrics (e.g. resting heart rate, heart rate variability, skin temperature, and sleep stages) to give you one clear picture of your day. Similarly, the data from your Google Health app will be made available to Flo for a deeper, more personalized, and consistent experience between apps.
• Google Health Coach integration: ³ Flo Health data will integrate with your Google Health Coach. Whether you’re navigating cycle health or managing perimenopause, with Google Health Premium your coach will connect the dots across your cycle, sleep, and recovery to give you tailored, actionable guidance.
• Ground-breaking women’s health research: We plan to partner on dedicated research initiatives spanning underserved topics — this may include perimenopause, polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), pregnancy, and postpartum recovery.
• New products: We will partner to build new products that are specifically designed for women, with a deep integration of Flo's women's health insights and algorithms with our expertise in wearable hardware and advanced sensors.
