European stocks rose, driving their biggest weekly outperformance over the S&P 500 since March, as the region benefits from a defensive tilt among investors away from the AI trade and some positive earnings news.

The Stoxx Europe 600 Index was 0.3% higher as of 8:08 a.m. in London, led by industrials and financial services stocks. Healthcare shares were the biggest laggards.
