Oracle Corp. will offer cloud services based on Cerebras Systems Inc.’s computers in its data centers, adding another large customer for the fledgling challenger to Nvidia Corp.’s dominance of AI hardware.
Cerebras sells computers built on its novel approach to components — giant chips that occupy whole disks of silicon typically used to create multiple processors. That allows the chipmaker’s offerings to serve up meaningful results to artificial intelligence queries much more quickly than rival products, Cerebras said. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure will deploy the gear beginning in the first half of 2027, the companies said Tuesday in a statement.
