OpenAI says one of its employees has been arrested after the artificial intelligence startup identified that the person had hidden a “sophisticated” recording device inside one of its offices.

The company said it used its AI models to understand the planted device and identify who had placed it in its office. The worker has since been fired, OpenAI said.
