CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA Apple today introduced transformative updates to Apple Creator Studio, the powerful collection of creative apps designed to put studio-grade tools into the hands of modern creators across Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Final Cut Pro for Mac now includes built-in MotionVFX — an expansive collection of visual effects, plug-ins, transitions, templates, and motion graphics tools — as well as seamless editing in Pixelmator Pro. Apple’s curated Content Hub now includes video assets and is available in Final Cut Pro. Music creators using Logic Pro for Mac gain a new intelligent assistant in beta,¹ an enhanced Stem Splitter that now separates drums, and a redesigned Browser that incorporates all sounds, with music understanding and even a Splice library. Pixelmator Pro introduces Generate Fill, which lets creators transform selected areas of an image using natural language. Keynote, Pages, and Numbers introduce new AI features in beta, including assistants² that understand document context and new Model Context Protocol (MCP) support for workflow automation.³ They also add stock video in the Content Hub and new premium themes and templates.

Expansive New Creative Toolkits and Video Workflows

Final Cut Pro for Mac and iPad delivers an exceptional set of new capabilities for video editors, content creators, and filmmakers, from emerging storytellers to seasoned professionals deep in complex edits. Final Cut Pro for Mac now integrates MotionVFX directly into the app, giving editors access to thousands of elements, including templates with unique themes, stylish graphics, titles, and transitions, as well as tools for rotoscoping, tracking, and color grading. Editors can also tap into the Content Hub directly within Final Cut Pro and access a library of Apple-curated stock videos, photos, and backgrounds to fill gaps, add polish, or spark new ideas without leaving their workflow.

Powering Productivity with In-App Intelligence

Visual productivity apps receive a new generation of intelligence features for subscribers, including an intelligent assistant, built on Apple models and OpenAI, directly within Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. The assistant understands document context to help users accomplish more without leaving their work.² In Keynote, the intelligent assistant helps with designing, animating, and refining slides. In Pages, it drafts, restructures, and fine-tunes written content. In Numbers, it calculates, visualizes, and organizes data; recommends suitable chart types with a one-tap preview; and builds custom tables using world knowledge. New MCP support, built on this platform, enables external AI agents and tools to read content, perform edits, and execute automated actions directly in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.

Apple Creator Studio updates will be available on the App Store this November for free for existing subscribers. New subscribers pay $12.99 (U.S.) per month or $129 (U.S.) per year. All new subscribers will enjoy a one-month free trial of Apple Creator Studio, and with the purchase of a new Mac or qualifying iPad, customers can receive three months of Apple Creator Studio for free.⁵

Education savings are available for college students and educators for $2.99 (U.S.) per month or $29.99 (U.S.) per year.⁶

Apple Creator Studio is available to download on the App Store as a universal purchase.

Up to six family members can share all of the apps and content included in Apple Creator Studio with Family Sharing.

One-time-purchase versions of Final Cut Pro ($299.99 U.S.), Logic Pro ($199.99 U.S.), Pixelmator Pro ($49.99 U.S.), Motion ($49.99 U.S.), Compressor ($49.99 U.S.), and MainStage ($29.99 U.S.) are available on the Mac App Store.⁷

Free versions of Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform continue to be available and are included with every new iPhone, Mac, and iPad.
