Computer use will be the next major battleground for AI agents.

Ideally, the digital world should be API-first for agents. But it isn’t.

• A lot of software has no useful API at all: buying things on Amazon, filing taxes, old enterprise tools.
• Even when APIs exist, they’re often slow, incomplete, and rate-limited. Slack is a good example.

GUIs are different. They’re the one universal API that almost every software already exposes.
