We have models with capabilities that are so powerful, particularly in finding

are choosing to hold them back from public release and instead pacing.

Um, the rate at which they share them with only a small number of trusted

organizations. We're seeing AI agents that can actually

themselves plan, act, and operate with real autonomy.

And of course, we've seen what happens when these agents behave in ways that

weren't intended. A year ago when we were here, we were

talking about rogue agents, but at that time it was a thought experiment.

It almost seemed impossible to believe. Today it's happening.

And so that means with AI, we have an engineering set of engineering

challenges. But quite frankly, the thing that I am

even more worried about are the governance challenges.

And we need to act with on these governance challenges and

setting up a governance framework with the same urgency and level of intensity

that AI researchers are using to develop the technology.
